The Number of Young Native Swedes is Steadily Decreasing
The alarming statistics show a decline of 180,000 in the young native population since 2002.
The number of children and young people in Sweden who were born in the country with two Swedish-born parents has fallen by around 180,000 since 2002. At the same time, the group that is foreign-born or has at least one foreign-born parent has grown sharply.
The figures apply to people aged 0–21 and are shown in population statistics from Statistics Sweden
