Fully Vaccinated Swede Dies from TBE after Tick Bite
Despite following the recommended vaccination schedule.
A 40-year-old Swedish father of two died in November after developing severe brain inflammation caused by tick-borne encephalitis, or TBE. He had reportedly followed the recommended vaccination schedule against the disease, but the vaccine did not protect him in his case.
